Brenda was born to Raymond & Ruth Vetter in Unity and was the oldest and only daughter. She had three younger brothers. Brant (Tina), Rodney, and her youngest brother Donnie who passed away previously in 2024. She also had two nephews, Tyson and Bryce, from her brothers.
Brenda worked for many years in the Credit Union system at various branches but was at the Saskatoon main branch when she met her future husband Owen in 1992.
She went on a Caribbean cruise by herself and through pure chance met Owen who would become her lifelong partner of 33 years. Brenda and Owen were married in Saskatoon on July 17, 1993. They made their first home in Dodsland but then moved on to Kindersley, Calgary and eventually settled in Unity for the past nearly 20 years. Owen and Brenda travelled extensively throughout the years, going to many destinations and on six different cruises which they both loved doing. Brenda took great joy in her many pet dogs over the years. Chip, Taio, Tanze and Diamond who she lovingly took great care of. Most recently she acquired two little chihuahua's named Aero and Rola who she loved dearly and took for walks nearly every day. She also volunteered at the Unity Seniors home where she took many of her dogs to make visits with the elderly residents, which she very much enjoyed. Brenda also belonged to a weekly exercise program at the Fitness Liar where she had many friends and very much enjoyed her time there.
Most recently, Owen and Brenda had purchased a condo in Tulum, Mexico shortly after Owen had retired and was planning to spend her winters there together with Owen and her little dogs. It was her first trip down in early January and she absolutely loved it there.
Tragically, Brenda had not been feeling well and passed away very suddenly on January 29th while still in Mexico leaving her husband Owen to grieve her loss.
Brenda is survived by her husband Owen. Her parents Raymond and Ruth Vetter and brothers Brant and Rodney.
Owens parents Raymond and Jeannette Herner and his sister Laurie (Kevin) and brothers Trent (Tara) and Carey (Micki) and all their children and grandchildren.
Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her, especially her loving husband Owen.
